Rapid celebrates its 100th anniversary with the press

Rapid’s 100-year success story was celebrated at the Rapid Museum. Together with representatives from the press, the group looked back on Rapid’s milestones. Charles Lüscher, the museum’s owner, presented some showpieces from days gone by and demonstrated with a model train that the engines of yesteryear still ‘start up’ and ‘whir’ with ease today.

At the same time, Florian Kaufmann and Rolf Schaffner highlighted current developments and offered a glimpse into the future. Rapid is well-positioned thanks to its broad expertise and aims to continue its successful history in the future with innovative solutions for agriculture, horticulture and grounds maintenance, as well as acting as a contract manufacturer for industry.

In the presence of the press, a toast was raised to mark the anniversary, stories were shared, and the future was discussed in technical detail. For anyone interested in Rapid, we are opening our doors on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026 for a look behind the scenes. You are all invited to discover how our successful products are created at our Swiss production site in Killwangen.
